Draw your tessellation stencil on thick cardstock paper to get nice clean, defined edges. Use your scotch tape to fasten the cut out parts to the other sides. Follow the instructions at the end of the Escher presentation. Practice both a slide and a rotational tessellation in your sketchbook. You should have 4 different ones completed on four different sketchbook pages. At least one should be rotational. They should be drawn with an HB pencil only. Two out of the four should have details on the inside of the stencil outlines to let the viewer know what the image represents. Do not shade or make your lines too sketchy.
This sketchbook assignment is due Tuesday, September 1st.
